Product description
Admire 3018 artificial grass is a UV-stable garden grass with a 30 mm pile height: the entry model in the WOWO range, green all year round at a good price.
The 30 mm pile gives the look of a short, well-kept lawn. This model is the best choice where a larger area needs covering at low cost: in front gardens, dog runs or garden strips where real grass would wear away.
Technical data
- Pile height: 30 mm; yarn: straight PE and curled PP monofilament
- Total weight: 1,781 g/m², density: 22,680 stitches/m²
- Water permeability: 60 litres/min/m², latex backing with drainage holes
- UV resistance: tested to DIN 53387 (6,000 hours)
- Supplied as: cut to size, or as a full roll (4 m wide and 25 m long, 100 m²); colour: light and dark green blend with straw-coloured fibres
Installation and care
It can be laid on a compacted crushed stone and sand base or on a solid hard surface; the joins are held together with seaming tape and the edges with fixing pins. It is worth spreading 6–8 kg/m² of quartz sand between the fibres: this protects the fibres and stabilises the surface. Maintenance is sweeping; leaves are best removed with a blower.
Frequently asked questions
Can dogs and children use it?
Yes, the material is lead- and cadmium-free; droppings can be picked up, the surface can be rinsed with water, and the fibres can be brushed back up.
How is it different from the more expensive models?
Its fibres are shorter and less dense, so the lawn looks less lush; in return, this is the lowest price. On large areas and hard-wearing spaces it gives the best value for money.
