Privacy policy
This notice covers the two forms on woopla.eu: the contact form and the wall panel price calculator. It explains what data you provide when you submit them, where that data goes, how long we keep it and how you can ask for it to be deleted. The data controller is WOOPLA Zrt. (2040 Budaörs, Gyár utca 2., company registration number: 13-10-041794).
This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.
What data we collect
With the contact form, we store the showroom you chose, your name, your email address, your phone number (if you provide it), the topic you selected and your message. With the calculator, we also store the selected product, the size of the wall, the doors and windows, the calculated number of panels and the estimated price.
For both forms we also store some technical data: the time of submission, your IP address, your browser identifier, your device type (mobile or desktop) and the address of the page from which you submitted the form.
Where you came from: source data
When you arrive on the site, your browser records which advert or page brought you here: the campaign tags in the link (utm parameters), the ad click identifier (for example the Google gclid, Facebook fbclid or TikTok ttclid value), the address of the referring page, the page you arrived on and the time of your first visit. Where this is kept depends on your choice in the cookie bar. If you accept cookies, it is kept in our own cookie (woopla_attr) in your browser for 90 days; if you do not accept them, or have not decided yet, it stays only in your browser’s session storage and is deleted when you close the tab. If you later withdraw your consent, we delete the cookie. The first source is always kept; a later ad click only updates the click identifier. Only woopla.eu reads this data, and on its own it does not pass anything to third parties. If you submit a form in the meantime, this data reaches us together with your submission. We describe the other cookies used for measurement further down, in the Cookies and measurement section.
Cookies and measurement
The site runs Google Tag Manager. We use it to measure visits and the results of our advertising, and the Meta (Facebook, Instagram) advertising pixel also runs through it. Both use cookies, for which we ask your consent: you can say yes or no in the bar that appears on your first visit.
Google receives the pages you view and the identifier of any click that came from an advert. The Meta pixel also sees the pages you view, and receives a signal when you request a quote or write to us. Both are used to build advertising audiences, which is how we can show our adverts to previous visitors.
If you say no, the two behave differently. Google measurement does not stop completely, but it cannot link anything to you: it receives signals without cookies or identifiers, from which it produces aggregate estimates. We do not track individual visitors, and we do not touch your advertising profile. The Meta pixel does not start at all in this case, so we send it no data whatsoever.
If you request a quote or write to us and you said yes in the bar, your email address and phone number also reach Meta, but not in readable form. Before sending, your browser applies one-way encoding (hashing) to them, which cannot be reversed. From this, Meta can only tell which advert the enquiry belongs to, which lets it measure the results of our adverts more accurately. We do not send your name or the text of your message. If you said no in the bar, this does not happen either.
You can change your decision at any time. Click the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page and the bar will appear again. Your browser keeps your choice in a cookie (woopla_consent) for 365 days; it is not transferred to our server.
Why we process this data
We use the data you provide to reply to you, to prepare a quote and to get in touch with you. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the checkbox on the form.
We keep the IP address and browser identifier to filter out abuse: we accept at most 20 submissions per hour from a single address; the legal basis for this is our legitimate interest. The source data shows us which advert or page led to the enquiry. Storing the source data in the cookie for 90 days is based on the consent you give in the cookie bar; processing the source data that arrives with your submission is based on our legitimate interest.
Where the data goes
To three places. First, the showroom receives it by email. Second, we store it in WOOPLA Zrt.'s own database, on the web hosting that serves the website. Third, it is entered into WOOPLA Zrt.'s customer management system, where the sales staff of the Budaörs and Békéscsaba showrooms handle enquiries. Only our staff have access to this system.
Emails are technically delivered by Woopla’s email service provider. We do not pass the data you enter in the forms to anyone for advertising purposes.
How long we keep it
We keep the data for as long as the business relationship is active, and for at most 3 years from your last enquiry, after which we delete it. This applies both to our own database and to the customer management system.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, by writing to [email protected]. We delete it from both systems.
