Product description
Ecolite Wall Decor Oak is a lightweight slatted decorative panel with a natural oak surface: a 9.5 mm thin, glue-on wall covering in 290 × 30 cm strips.
Ecolite is Lumina’s entry-level decorative panel family, made for when you want a quick, featherweight and affordable wall makeover with an eye-catching result. The oak version is the most versatile: it looks just as good behind the bed in a Scandinavian bedroom, next to the TV in a living room, or as a welcome wall in a hallway.
Technical details
- Panel size: 2900 × 300 × 9.5 mm, 0.87 m² per panel
- Wood-effect slatted surface divided by narrow strips
- Especially light and thin: minimal build-up, one-person installation
- Fixed with adhesive; for indoor use
Installation and care
Given the panel’s weight, strong construction adhesive holds it on almost any flat, clean wall; the 9.5 mm thickness needs hardly any adjustment around door frames and switches. It can even be cut with a sharp utility knife. Clean with a slightly damp cloth.
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from the ‘big’ slat panels?
Ecolite is thinner (9.5 vs. 12–21 mm), lighter and more affordable, and it is made for decoration, without sound-absorbing felt or a flexible backing. In return, it is the quickest and simplest panel to install in our range.
How many panels do I need for the wall behind a bed?
A wall 3 m wide and 2.6 m high needs 10 panels: with slat panels it is the width of the wall that decides, not the area, and 3 m ÷ 30 cm = 10 strips. The 2.9 m strip length covers most ceiling heights in one piece.
Is it a good choice for a rented flat?
That is where it most often goes: for little cost it gives the wall a whole new look in an afternoon, and when you move out, removing the thin panel is a smaller job too.
You can see the Ecolite Oak panel at the Woopla showrooms in Budaörs and Békéscsaba; we deliver from stock.
