Product description
The Sandstone PVC Wall Panel is an indoor wall covering with the richly detailed pattern of natural sandstone: a 3 mm waterproof PVC sheet, fixed with adhesive.
The warm sand colour and the finely textured surface give a room understated elegance: it is a characteristic covering for hotel lobbies, reception areas, meeting rooms and upmarket living rooms. The precisely matching sheets run across the wall as one continuous stone surface without visible joints, and a single sheet can cover a smaller section of wall on its own.
Technical features
- Sheet size: 3000 × 1220 × 3 mm, i.e. 3.66 m²/sheet
- Tactile sandstone texture in a warm beige-sand shade
- 100% waterproof, resistant to mould and wear
- Heat-resistant up to 80 °C; for indoor use only
- Surface tested for a service life of 10–30 years
Installation
It is fixed with a neutral-cure, one-component adhesive (Lumina Universal Adhesive), applied in dabs or wavy lines, with no screws and no drilling, so the surface stays undamaged. It can go onto skimmed or painted walls, plasterboard, or old tiles with a bonding primer. As a guide, allow 1.5 cartridges of adhesive per sheet.
Cleaning
Weekly upkeep takes just a damp cloth; the textured surface tolerates mild soapy water and neutral cleaners, but not scouring products.
Frequently asked questions
Why is it popular in hospitality and hotel spaces?
Because it gives a smart stone look at a fraction of the cost and weight, it is quick to repair or replace, and its surface stands up to heavy use and frequent cleaning.
How much area does one sheet cover?
3.66 m². On an average wall with a 2.7 m ceiling height, one 3-metre sheet covers the full wall height in a single piece, with no joins.
Can it be combined with other Lumina panels?
Yes. It is often paired with the Limestone and Travertine panels: with the same thickness and fixing method, the shades can be layered well within one room.
Woopla is Lumina’s official partner in Hungary; we deliver the Sandstone panel from stock, and you can see it in person in Budaörs or Békéscsaba.
