Product description
Megan 35 artificial grass is a heavy 35 mm grass: with the highest yarn weight in its class, it gives a full, durable lawn for gardens, terraces and balconies.
What sets Megan apart from the other 35 mm models is the weight of its fibres: 1,400 g/m², meaning the surface is made of thicker, fuller fibres. The result is a more cushioned feel and a longer life, even with heavy use.
Technical data
- Pile height: 35 mm; straight PE + curled PP monofilament
- Yarn weight: 1,400 g/m², total weight: 2,260 g/m²
- Water permeability: 60 litres/min/m²; UV test: DIN 53387 (6,000 hours)
- Supplied as: cut to size, or as a full roll (4 m wide and 25 m long, 100 m²)
Installation and care
The heavier weave is also an advantage when laying: the roll lies taut and ripples less with large temperature swings. It can be laid on a compacted base or a hard surface, with a layer of quartz sand. Care means sweeping and brushing it through a few times a year.
Frequently asked questions
What makes the thicker fibre better?
It flattens and wears more slowly: in a busy part of the garden that means years of extra life, and it feels more cushioned.
Is it suitable for terraces too?
Yes, it can be laid directly on paving; with the 4 m roll width, most terraces can be covered without a join.
Made by Condor Grass in the Netherlands; it can be ordered cut to size or in full rolls and can be seen in person at our showrooms in Budaörs and Békéscsaba.
