Product description
Megan 45 artificial grass is a 45 mm premium grass: nearly 29,000 stitches per square metre make a lush, lifelike lawn for gardens, terraces and sun decks.
The entry point to the premium level: the 45 mm pile and the exceptionally dense stitching together give a surface your guests will very likely take for a real lawn. We recommend it for show gardens and prestige terraces.
Technical data
- Pile height: 45 mm; straight PE + curled PP monofilament
- Yarn weight: 2,328 g/m², total weight: 3,188 g/m², density: 28,980 stitches/m²
- Water permeability: 60 litres/min/m²; UV test: DIN 53387 (6,000 hours)
- Supplied as: cut to size, or as a full roll (4 m wide and 25 m long, 100 m²)
Installation and care
The heavy, dense weave deserves careful groundwork: a level, compacted base or a clean hard surface. Quartz sand is recommended here too, but thanks to the dense stitching, less of it is enough for a stable surface. With brushing, the lush look can be kept for years.
Frequently asked questions
What makes this model premium?
The numbers: 28,980 stitches/m² and 3,188 g/m² total weight. It is denser, heavier and lusher than the mid-range, and you can see it at a glance.
We get a lot of foot traffic. Will it cope?
Yes, the dense stitching copes well with wear; for a busy walkway, though, Rock 35 is the more practical choice, as its shorter fibre needs less brushing.
Made by Condor Grass in the Netherlands; it can be ordered cut to size or in full rolls, and you can see it in person at our showrooms in Budaörs and Békéscsaba.
