Product description
The Forest Grey Acoustic Slat Panel is a cool grey, wood-effect slatted wall panel with sound-absorbing felt backing: a minimalist covering for a quieter room.
Greyish, yet with the character of wood in its grain, this surface is the panel for Scandinavian and modern minimalist interiors: on light or pastel walls it gives a subtle contrast without bringing brown tones into the room. It is the best choice where you are after a graphic, clean look rather than the warmth of wood.
Construction and how it works
- Grey-stained wood veneer slats, MDF core (CARB P2)
- Polyester felt backing: sound reaching the gaps between the slats is absorbed in it
- Effect: reverberation in rooms with hard surfaces (laminate floors, glass) drops noticeably

Installation and care
The panels can be fitted vertically or horizontally; laid horizontally, they make the wall look wider. Cut with a fine-toothed blade; clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.
Frequently asked questions
Which wall colour does it look best with?
It is most elegant on off-white, light grey and pale sage walls; on a dark graphite wall it gives a tone-on-tone effect. Its black felt backing shows as a contrast in the gaps between the slats.
Is it worth using in a hallway?
Yes. The hallway is usually the most echoey space in a home (hard flooring, few textiles), so even 2–3 panels give an audible improvement and a striking welcome wall.
How much area should I cover to notice the effect?
As a rule of thumb, a panel area of 15–25% of the room’s floor area already brings a noticeable reduction in echo. For a 20 m² room that is 3–4 m², or 2–3 panels.
